Polly HO| Pyrography Artist and Illustrator
Polly HO is a Pyrography Artist and illustrator born in Hong Kong and now based in Brisbane, Australia. She is obsessed with black and white line arts.
She published the silent picture book, 'The Next Stop' to evoke the daily emotions of Hong Kong people. Recently, She has focused on nature-themed pyrography art creation.

Polly Ho’s artistic practice is rooted in monochrome linework and two-dimensional compositions.
Having recently left her career as a secondary school Visual Arts teacher, she now focuses entirely on the craft of pyrography.
For Polly, art serves as both a personal chronicle and an emotional expression. Using wood and heat as her mediums, Polly invites the audience to embrace the texture and warmth of nature.

“Bird Songs” — Debut Solo Pyrography Exhibition
About Exhibition
This exhibition presents a series of pyrography works inspired by the birds of Australia and Hong Kong. Through the concept of impossible encounters shaped by the birds' restricted habitats, the exhibition explores themes of personal identity and belongingness in the current mass migration wave, while also raising awareness about bird conservation and public understanding of these creatures.
