1. What is a pyrography pet portrait?
A pyrography pet portrait is a hand-burned artwork created using a heated pen on natural wood. Each portrait is custom-made using your pet's photo, capturing their unique features with warmth, texture, and precision—no lasers, just handmade detail.
2. How do I place a custom order?
Simply visit www.polliholic.com, choose your portrait size, and upload 2–3 clear photos of your pet. For more than 1 photo, You can send them in bulk through email to polliholic@gmail.com for maintaining good photo resolution.
You can also add your pet's name or a special message to be included in the artwork.

3. What kind of photos should I upload?
High-resolution, well-lit images where your pet’s face and eyes are clearly visible work best. Front-facing or slightly angled shots with good contrast help me capture your pet’s expression and character more accurately.
4. How long does it take to complete a portrait?
Each artwork is made by hand with care.
- Small items: approx. 1–2 weeks
- Larger portraits: approx. 2–3 weeks
Time may vary depending on current order volume.
5. Can I request more than one pet in a portrait?
Yes! You can include multiple pets in one piece. Please contact me before placing your order so I can recommend the best size and layout.
6. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! I ship worldwide from Australia with tracked shipping. Shipping costs and delivery times will be calculated at checkout.
7. Is the artwork sealed or protected?
Yes, each finished piece is lightly sealed to protect the wood and preserve the burned details. I use a clear, matte finish that enhances the natural wood grain without altering the artwork.
8. What type of wood is used?
I mainly use natural camphor laurel or basswood, both ideal for pyrography due to their smooth surface and beautiful grain. Each piece of wood is hand-selected for quality and character.
9. Can I gift a portrait to someone else?
Absolutely! A custom portrait makes a heartfelt pet loss gift, pet lovers gift, or memorial gift. Add a personal message during checkout, and I’ll include a handwritten card with the package.
10. Do you offer digital previews before burning?
Yes! Upon request, I can provide a pencil sketch preview for your approval before starting the burning process. One minor revision is included for free. Please clearly state this request in the checkout notes section when placing your order.
